Rumah 2 Lantai American House Style – Bapak Koko, Yogyakarta
Rumah gaya American style menawarkan perpaduan sempurna antara kenyamanan, kehangatan, dan estetika klasik. Dengan ciri khas seperti beranda luas, penggunaan material alami, tata letak terbuka, dan detail arsitektur yang elegan, rumah ini menjadi pilihan yang ideal untuk menciptakan ruang tinggal yang indah dan fungsional. Pada kesempatan kali ini tim Arsigriya mendapatkan kepercayaan untuk mendesain rumah tinggal di Yogyakarta dengan konsep American Style. Rumah tinggal dengan luas lahan 12 x 9 meter milik Bapak Koko yang ada di Yogyakarta ini awalnya adalah rumah 1 lantai dengan luas lantai 1 adalah 77,5 m2. Beliau berencana untuk menambah ruangan dengan merenovasi dan menambahkan ruangan pada lantai 2. Renovasi yang akan dilakukan pada lantai 1 sebisa mungkin tetap mempertahankan layout ruang yang sudah ada. Adapun penambahan ruangan pada lantai 2 menyesuaikan dengan grid yang sudah ada pada lantai 1.
Permintaan khusus dari owner yaitu terdapat void pada lantai 2 dengan tujuan agar ruangan di lantai 1 tetap terkesan lapang. Posisi kamar tidur lantai 2 juga diusahakan tidak pada sisi Selatan karena alasan tertentu. Setelah melalui beberapa kali proses diskusi maka didapatkan luasan untuk lantai 2 sebesar 61 m2 dengan kebutuhan berupa 2 ruang tidur, ruang keluarga, balkon, ruang jemur, serta toilet.
Untuk tampilan eksterior bangunan, Bapak Koko memilih American House Style. Salah satu identitas khusus dari rumah bertema American adalah dinding bangunan yang dilengkapi dengan garis-garis horizontal. Untuk desain rumah milik Bapak Koko ini, garis-garis tersebut didapat bukan menggunakan material tempel seperti kayu atau conwood, akan tetapi menggunakan finishing semen. Selain itu, bentuk atap juga sangat mempengaruhi suatu tema yang diusung. Bentuk atap didesain agar tetap minim budget, mudah dalam maintenance serta selaras dengan konsep utama. Kemudian untuk bentuk pintu dan jendela pun menyesuaikan dengan konsep American yang ada, sebagai contoh pintu utama dan jendela pada bagian depan dibuat melengkung pada bagian atas. Pemilihan warna bangunan juga cukup penting untuk menunjang konsep yang ada. Dipilihlah warna putih sebagai warna dominan serta hijau tosca sebagai aksen pada desain Rumah Tinggal milik Bapak Koko ini.
Bagian depan rumah terdapat carport yang didesain sedemikian rupa, sehingga mobil dapat dengan mudah parkir pada lokasi yang ada. Carport didesain dengan atap yang menyesuaikan dengan bentuk bangunan utama, atap carport menggunakan material baja ringan dan galvalum karena Bapak Koko menghendaki desain carport yang tidak massive dan non-permanen. Pada sisi Utara carport, ditambahkan dinding roster untuk mengurangi paparan sinar matahari langsung. Terdapat 2 akses masuk ke dalam site, yaitu dari depan dan samping.
2 Storey American House Style House – Mr. Koko, Yogyakarta
American style homes offer the perfect blend of comfort, warmth and classic aesthetics. With characteristics such as spacious verandas, use of natural materials, open layout, and elegant architectural details, this house is an ideal choice for creating a beautiful and functional living space. On this occasion, the Arsigriya team was trusted to design a residential house in Yogyakarta with the American Style concept. Mr. Koko’s residential house with a land area of 12 x 9 meters in Yogyakarta was originally a 1-story house with a 1st floor area of 77.5 m2. He plans to increase the space by renovating and adding rooms on the 2nd floor. The renovations will be carried out on the 1st floor as much as possible while maintaining the existing room layout. The additional rooms on the 2nd floor adapt to the existing grid on the 1st floor.
A special request from the owner is that there is a void on the 2nd floor with the aim that the room on the 1st floor still looks spacious. The position of the bedroom on the 2nd floor is also attempted not to be on the South side for certain reasons. After going through several discussion processes, the area for the second floor was obtained at 61 m2 with the requirements of 2 bedrooms, a family room, a balcony, a drying room and a toilet.
For the exterior appearance of the building, Mr Koko chose American House Style. One of the special identities of an American themed house is the building walls which are equipped with horizontal lines. For the design of Mr Koko’s house, the lines were obtained not using adhesive materials such as wood or conwood, but using cement finishing. Apart from that, the shape of the roof also greatly influences the theme being carried. The roof shape is designed to keep the budget low, easy to maintain and in line with the main concept. Then the shape of the doors and windows adapts to the existing American concept, for example the main door and windows at the front are curved at the top. The choice of building color is also quite important to support the existing concept. White was chosen as the dominant color and turquoise green as an accent in the design of Mr. Koko’s residence.
At the front of the house there is a carport which is designed in such a way, so that cars can easily park in the existing location. The carport is designed with a roof that adapts to the shape of the main building. The carport roof uses light steel and galvalum because Mr Koko wants a carport design that is not massive and non-permanent. On the North side of the carport, a roster wall was added to reduce exposure to direct sunlight. There are 2 entrances to the site, namely from the front and the side.
