Rumah Ibu Yeti dengan Konsep Modern Tropis
Karya kali ini merupakan proyek renovasi rumah tinggal milik Ibu Yeti yang berlokasi di Bandung, Jawa Barat. Pada mulanya rumah tinggal Ibu Yeti terdiri hanya 1 lantai dengan 2 kamar tidur, ruang tamu, kamar mandi, dapur dan ruang makan. Klien menghendaki penambahan ruang dan lantai bangunan menjadi 2 lantai. Lantai 1 terdiri dari ruang tamu, kamar mandi, 2 kamar tidur, dapur dan ruang makan, serta taman. Sedangkan lantai 2 terdiri dari kamar tidur utama, ruang keluarga, kamar mandi, musholla, ruang loundry dan area jemur. Ruang keluarga berada di lantai 2 bagian depan dan terhubung dengan area balkon.
Rumah tinggal Ibu Yeti didesain dengan konsep modern tropis. Fasad lantai 1 tidak mengalami banyak perubahan hanya penambahan atap untuk area carport. Atap carport menggunakan atap dak beton dan terdapat void kaca untuk akses pencahayaan alami agar area carport tidak gelap.
Pada facade lantai 2 yaitu di bagian depan kamar utama menggunakan sentuhan material batu alam andesit berwarna cream. Lalu pada area balkon didesain tidak monoton namun dengan adanya permainan kisi-kisi kayu dan sebagian terbuka menggunakan railing kaca. Selain memberikan tampilan yang modern dan estetik, penggunaan kisi-kisi kayu dimaksudkan agar ruang keluarga mendapatkan privasi atau tidak terlalu terbuka ke arah luar. Secara keseluruhan tone warna yang digunakan untuk fasade rumah ini yaitu putih dan cream. Warna cat eksterior yang digunakan yaitu putih dan cokelat tua. Kemudian untuk kusen menggunakan kusen dari bahan kayu yang di finishing dengan cat duco warna putih.
Pada bagian atap menggunakan atap limasan dengan rangka atap baja ringan dan genting metal pasir warna abu-abu gelap. Bentuk atap limasan dipilih menyesuaikan kondisi iklim tropis tempat bangunan berada.
Penggunaan atap limasan mengharuskan adanya talang beton di sekeliling atap. Pada area belakang menggunakan atap dak beton sebagai tempat water tank. Lalu di atas area loundry menggunakan atap kaca. Setiap ruangan pada rumah ini didesain memiliki akses sirkulasi udara yang baik yaitu setiap ruangan terhubung atau memiliki bukaan ke arah luar berupa jendela atau roster.
Mrs. Yeti’s House with Modern Tropical Concept
At his time’s we have a project, it is a house renovation owned by Mrs. Yeti, which is located in Bandung, West Java. Initially, Mrs. Yeti’s house consisted of only 1 floor with 2 bedrooms, living room, bathroom, kitchen and dining room. The client wants additional space and building floors to be 2 floors. The 1st floor consists of a living room, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and dining room, as well as a garden. While the 2nd floor consists of the main bedroom, family room, bathroom, prayer room, laundry room and drying area. The family room is on the 2nd floor at the front and is connected to the balcony area.
Ibu Yeti’s house was designed with a tropical modern concept. The facade of the 1st floor did not experience much change, only the addition of a roof for the carport area. The carport roof uses a non-concrete roof and there are glass voids to access natural lighting so that the carport area is not dark.
On the facade of the 2nd floor, namely at the front of the main room, it uses a touch of cream-colored andesite natural stone material. Then the balcony area is designed not to be monotonous but with a wooden lattice and partly open using glass railings. In addition to providing a modern and aesthetic appearance, the use of wooden latticework is intended so that the family room has privacy or is not too open to the outside. Overall the color tone used for the facade of this house is white and cream. The exterior paint colors used are white and dark brown. Then for the sills, use sills made of wood which are finished with white duco paint.
The roof uses a pyramid roof with light steel roof trusses and dark gray metal sand tiles. The shape of the pyramid roof was chosen according to the tropical climate conditions where the building is located.
The use of a pyramid roof requires the presence of concrete gutters around the roof. In the rear area using a non-concrete roof as a water tank. Then above the laundry area using a glass roof. Every room in this house is designed to have access to good air circulation, that is, every room is connected or has an opening to the outside in the form of a window or roster.
