Rumah Modern Tropis
Dewasa ini banyak kegiatan dan aktivitas dilakukan di rumah, sehingga kenyamanan rumah sangat berpengaruh dan menjadi point penting dalam mendesain rumah. Renovasi rumah juga dapat dilakukan disaat merasa bosan dengan gaya ataupun konsep rumah dan ingin merasakan suasana baru yang lebih nyaman atau mungkin lebih modern.
Kali ini kami mempunyai klien yang ingin merenovasi rumah tinggal, beliau bernama Ibu Pipit yang berlokasi Palembang. Dengan luasan lahan kurang lebih 550 meter2 dan luas bangunan 200 meter2 dengan kolam renang dibagian belakang, beliau menghendaki untuk tidak mengubah struktur bangunan yang sudah ada termasuk struktur atap serta penambahan ruang gudang, kamar kucing, serta kolam renang termasuk ruang bilas.
Rumah ini terdiri dari dua lantai, dimana pada lantai satu terdapat ruang-ruang seperti; ruang tamu, ruang keluarga dengan konsep open space dimana tergabung dengan ruang makan dan dapur, kamar utama dengan kamar mandi dalam, dua kamar anak, mushola, garasi, kamar kucing, dan kamar mandi luar. Pada lantai dua digunakan sebagai ruang servis seperti, gudang, ruang cuci, dan balkon yang menghadap ke taman belakang sebagai ruang jemur.
Konsep rumah yang akan diterapkan pada bangunan ini adalah konsep rumah modern tropis. Dalam proses desain rumah ini tidak merubah struktur utama rumah serta bentuk atap utama sebelumnya. Tim arsigriya mengolah fasad dari depan rumah ini menjadi lebih modern sehingga tidak terkesan ketinggalan zaman. Kami mengubah tampilan pada teras bangunan dengan mengganti atap teras menjadi atap limasan. Kami juga menambahkan eleman batu alam berupa batu alam andesit dan kayu pada beberapa sisi fasad bangunan agar bangunan tidak terlihat membosankan. Pada fasad depan bangunan juga diberikan permainan dinding seperti tali air dan profil pada dinding fasad bangunan.
Pada area belakang terdapat penambahan ruang yaitu mushola dan kamar kucing dimana penambahan ruang ini menggunakan atap miring yang disembunykan serta atap dak pada teras tiadak mengubah struktur atap sebelumnya. Selain itu pemilihan jenis atap ini juga dapat memperkuat aksen modern pada bangunan. Untuk kamar kucing dan ke taman belakang diberikan banyak bukaan kaca agar memaksimalkan pencahayaan dalam ruang.
Pada area kolam renang dinding banyak menggunakan roster agar kolam renang tidak terlalu terbuka sehingga dapat menjaga privasi penghuni namun tetap terasa nyaman. Klien kami juga menghendaki untuk kolam renang diberikan atap agar tidak terlihat dari luar, oleh karena itu, kami menggunakan atap transparan dengan dikombinasikan kisi-kisi kayu agar pencahayaan dalam area kolam renang dapat lebih maksimal.
Modern Tropical House
At this time many activities are carried out at home, so that the comfort of the house is very influential and becomes an important point in designing a house. Home renovations can also be done when we feel bored with the style or concept of the house and want to feel a new atmosphere that is more comfortable or maybe more modern.
This time we have a client who wants to renovate a residence, she is named Mrs. Pipit who is located in Palembang. With a land area of approximately 550 meters2 and a building area of 200 meters2 with a swimming pool at the back, he wants not to change the existing building structure including the roof structure and the addition of storage space, cat room and swimming pool including a rinse room.
This house consists of two floors where on the first floor there are rooms such as a living room, family room with an open space concept which is joined by a dining room and kitchen, main bedroom with ensuite bathroom, two children’s rooms, prayer room, garage, cat room, and outside bathroom. On the second floor it is used as a service room such as a warehouse, laundry room, and a balcony overlooking the back garden as a drying room.
The concept of the house that will be applied to this building is the concept of a tropical modern house. In the process of designing this house, the main structure of the house and the shape of the previous main roof did not change. The arsigriya team made the facade from the front of the house more modern so it doesn’t seem out of date. We changed the appearance of the building terrace by changing the terrace roof to a pyramid roof. We also added natural stone elements in the form of andesite natural stone and wood on several sides of the building’s facade so that the building doesn’t look boring. On the front façade of the building, wall play is also given such as water ropes and profiles on the facade walls of the building.
In the rear area there is an additional space, namely a prayer room and a cat’s room where the addition of this space uses a hidden sloping roof and no roof on the terrace does not change the previous roof structure. In addition, choosing this type of roof can also strengthen a modern accent on the building. For the cat’s room and to the back garden, there are lots of glass openings to maximize lighting in the room.
In the swimming pool area, the wall uses a lot of rosters so that the swimming pool is not too open so that it can maintain the privacy of the residents but still feel comfortable. Our client also wants the swimming pool to be roofed so that it is not visible from the outside, therefore, we use a transparent roof combined with wooden latticework so that the lighting in the swimming pool area can be maximized.
