Rumah Bapak Amin dengan Gaya Farmhouse
Kali ini Arsigriya mempunyai klien yang berlokasi di Surabaya, jawa Timur. Beliau adalah bapak Amin. Beliau mempunyai lahan dengan luas 120m2 yang nantinya akan didirikan sebuah rumah dua lantai dengan pembagian sebagai berikut, Lantai 1 memiliki luas ruangan ± 88m2 dengan kebutuhan ruang antara lain ruang tamu, ruang keluarga, garasi, dapur, ruang makan, ruang keluarga dan kamar mandi. Sedangkan untuk lantai 2 memiliki luas ruangan ± 100m2 dengan kebutuhan ruang antara lain kamar tidur utama, 2 kamar tidur anak, ruang keluarga, ruang kerja, kamar mandi, serta balkon yang berada di depan kamar utama sesuai dengan keinginan beliau.
Penataan layout ruangan ini sangat sederhana yaitu posisi ruang tamu yg berada di depan, lalu terdapat ruang keluarga ruang, ruang makan dan dapur yang sama sekali tidak dipisahkan oleh sekat, hal ini bertujuan agar rung tengah terasa sangat luas dan nyaman untuk sirkulasi, baik sirkulasi udara maupun pencahayaan alami. Juga terdapat teras belakang yg langsung berhubungan dengan taman dan area ruang tengah. Sirkulasi udara dalam rumah pun diusahakan secara optimal yaitu dengan menambahkan jendela dan bouven yang dapat dibuka maupun ditutup sewaktu-waktu pada bagian atas pintu dan jendela.
Desain fasad yang diusung merupakan style Farmhouse. Terlihat dari bentuk massa rumah yang simetris dan sederhana dengan desain yang simple serta beberapa bagian yang sengaja ditekankan untuk memperkuat konsep. Seperti pada desain rumah ini, atap pelana sangat ditonjolkan. Selain sebagai atap utama, atap pelana ini juga ditonjolkan pada area teras dengan ukuran yang lebih kecil. Dinding bangunan dilapisi dengan material dari Conwood Plank 8” warna putih. Conwood Plank 8” di pilih karena memiliki beberapa keunggulan antara lain bentuknya hampir menyerupai kayu asli, hemat waktu dan biaya, anti rayap, mudah dipasang, serta tahan api dan tahan cuaca.
Desain pintu dan jendela pada rumah ini dibuat dengan ukuran yang besar. Hal ini bertujuan agar rumah terlihat lebih luas. Pada lantai 1 terdapat jendela dengan ukuran yang besar yang diletakkan pada bagian depan rumah dan menghadap ke arah jalan, serta pintu rumah juga didesain dengan daun pintu kaca sehingga cahaya dapat masuk secara maksimal.
Mr. Amin’s House with Farmhouse Style

The layout of this room is very simple, namely the position of the living room which is in the front, then there is the family room, dining room and kitchen which are not separated by a partition at all, this aims to make the living room feel very spacious and comfortable for circulation, good air circulation. as well as natural lighting. There is also a back terrace which is directly connected to the garden and living room area. Optimum air circulation in the house is also attempted, namely by adding windows and bouvens that can be opened or closed at any time on the top of the doors and windows.
The facade design that is carried is the Farmhouse style. This can be seen from the shape of the mass of the house which is symmetrical and simple with a simple design and several parts that are deliberately emphasized to strengthen the concept. As in the design of this house, the gable roof is very prominent. Apart from being the main roof, this gable roof is also highlighted on the terrace area with a smaller size. The walls of the building are covered with white Conwood Plank 8” material. Conwood Plank 8” was chosen because it has several advantages, including its shape that almost resembles real wood, saves time and costs, is termite-resistant, easy to install, and is fire and weather resistant.
The door and window designs in this house are made in large sizes. It aims to make the house look wider. On the 1st floor there is a large window that is placed on the front of the house and faces the road, and the door of the house is also designed with glass doors so that light can enter to the fullest.
