Resto 2 Lantai Bapak Rudy – Belitung
Bisnis café/ resto semakin banyak diminati terlihat dari banyaknya café/ resto baru yang bermunculan tidak hanya di pusat kota tetapi juga di daerah-daerah yang mempunyai potensi pemandangan yang dapat menjadi daya tarik pada café/resto. Hal ini tentunya membuat persaingan bisnis café/ resto semakin sengit sehingga pebisnis berlomba-lomba untuk membuka café/ resto yang unik dan berbeda. Pada kesempatan kali ini tim Arsigriya Arsitek mendapatkan project desain resto 2 lantai yang berlokasi di Belitung. Resto dengan total luas lantai 350m2 ini didesain pada lahan 2000m2 di mana lahan tersebut selain digunakan sebagai area resto juga akan dikembangkan menjadi area glamping. Bangunan resto ini didesain 2 lantai di mana lantai 1 difungsikan sebagai resto dan lantai 2 difungsikan sebagai villa.
Konsep modern tropis diterapkan pada desain resto ini yang akan memberikan tampilan bangunan ‘fresh’ dan kekinian. Elemen yang menjadi daya tarik utama pada bangunan ini yaitu pada bagian fasad bangunan, atap yang digunakan berupa atap pelana yang dibuat tidak simetris sehingga memberikan kesan dinamis. Selain itu terdapat jendela dan pintu berbentuk lengkung yang juga menjadi point of interest. Perpaduan material alam seperti batu alam, kisi kayu, semen ekspose, serta warna-warna netral (putih, krem, dan abu-abu) menampilkan kesan alami, bersih, dan hangat. Perpaduan tersebut juga memberkuat konsep tropis yang segar dan menenangkan. Pada lantai 1 yang difungsikan sebagai resto terdapat beberapa ruang seperti area makan indoor dan outdoor, pantry, coffee counter, restroom, gudang, resepsionis, dan dapur kotor. Bukaan yang lebar diterapkan pada lantai 1 melalui penggunaan jendela dan pintu kaca yang dapat dibuka secara penuh sehingga pencahayaan dan penghawaan alami dapat secara maksimal diterapkan yang juga dapat menghemat penggunaan energi. Pada area outdoor selain terdapat area makan dan taman, juga terdapat kolam renang yang cukup besar. Area makan outdoor didesain terbuka dengan meja kursi kayu. Area makan outdoor di tepi kolam renang digunakan deck kayu pada bagian lantainya selain untuk kenyamanan juga menghadirkan kesan alam yang lebih kental. Pada lantai 2 yang difungsikan sebagai villa terdapat 3 buah kamar tidur (villa) di mana masing-masing kamar tidur dilengkapi dengan kamar mandi dalam serta balkon. Pada lantai 2 ini juga diterapkan bukaan yang cukup lebar berupa kaca pada bagian fasad dan tampilan belakang.
Vegetasi menjadi elemen yang cukup penting pada desain resto ini karena klien ingin menghadirkan kesan alam yang kental, sehingga pada beberapa spot vegetasi menjadi highlight desain seperti pada lorong menuju entrance. Tidak seperti desain resto pada umumnya dimana entrance masuk ke resto berada di depan, entrance pada resto ini diletakkan di samping sehingga pengunjung harus melewati lorong di samping bangunan. Lorong ini didesain dengan dinding sisi kiri berupa pembatas vegetasi dan dinding sisi kanan terdapat tanaman rambat sehingga menciptkan nuansa seperti di hutan. Selain vegetasi, untuk menambah kesan alami, dibuat kolam ikan yang mengalir membentuk huruf L dari area depan hingga ke area samping sehingga pengunjung dapat menikmati gemericik air yang menenangkan.
Mr. Rudy’s 2 Floor Cafe – Belitung
The café/restaurant business is increasingly in demand, as can be seen from the number of new cafés/restaurants popping up not only in the city center but also in areas that have potential views that can be an attraction for cafés/restaurants. This of course makes competition in the café/restaurant business even fiercer so that business people are competing to open unique and different cafés/restaurants. On this occasion, the Arsigriya Architects team received a 2-story restaurant design project located in Belitung. This restaurant with a total floor area of 350m2 is designed on a 2000m2 plot of land where apart from being used as a restaurant area, the land will also be developed into a glamping area. This restaurant building is designed with 2 floors, where the 1st floor functions as a restaurant and the 2nd floor functions as a villa.
A tropical modern concept is applied to the design of this restaurant which will give the building a ‘fresh’ and contemporary appearance. The element that is the main attraction of this building is the facade of the building, the roof used is a gable roof which is made asymmetrically, giving a dynamic impression. Apart from that, there are curved windows and doors which are also points of interest. The combination of natural materials such as natural stone, wooden lattice, exposed cement, and neutral colors (white, cream and gray) gives a natural, clean and warm impression. This combination also strengthens the tropical concept which is fresh and calming. On the first floor, which functions as a restaurant, there are several spaces such as indoor and outdoor dining areas, pantry, coffee counter, restroom, warehouse, reception and dirty kitchen. Wide openings are implemented on the 1st floor through the use of windows and glass doors that can be opened fully so that natural lighting and ventilation can be maximally applied which can also save energy use. In the outdoor area, apart from the dining area and garden, there is also a quite large swimming pool. The outdoor dining area is designed in an open area with wooden tables and chairs. The outdoor dining area by the swimming pool uses a wooden deck on the floor, not only for comfort but also to provide a thicker natural impression. On the second floor, which functions as a villa, there are 3 bedrooms (villas) where each bedroom is equipped with an en suite bathroom and balcony. On the 2nd floor, quite wide openings in the form of glass are also applied to the facade and rear view.
Vegetation is an important element in the design of this restaurant because the client wants to create a strong impression of nature, so that in several spots the vegetation becomes a design highlight, such as in the hallway leading to the entrance. Unlike restaurant designs in general where the entrance to the restaurant is at the front, the entrance to this restaurant is placed on the side so that visitors have to pass through a hallway on the side of the building. This hallway is designed with a vegetation barrier on the left side of the wall and vines on the right side, creating a forest-like feel. Apart from vegetation, to add a natural impression, a fish pond was created which flows in an L shape from the front area to the side area so that visitors can enjoy the calming gurgle of the water.
