Rumah Ibu Medy – Bekasi, Jawa Barat
Desain Rumah Ibu Medy berlokasi di Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Terletak di hook, tetapi klien meminta fasad depan rumah hanya mengarah pada satu sisi jalan saja. Luas tanah ± 60 m2, sedangkan luas bangunan ± 47 m2. Bagian dalam rumah dibagi menjadi beberapa fungsi ruangan, antara lain: ruang tamu, dapur, Kamar Mandi, Ruang Cuci, Gudang dan kamar tidur. Untuk bagian luar bangunan hanya ada Carport dan Taman. Penataan layout ruangan ini sangat sederhana. Antara ruang tamu dengan dapur diberikan sekat untuk menjaga privasi penghuni rumah. Pada bagian depan dan belakang terdapat jendela untuk mengatur sirkulasi udara agar suhu yang berada di dalam ruangan tetap terasa sejuk dan tidak panas.
Rumah ini didesain dengan style rumah minimalis, sesuai permintaan dari klien. Dimana ciri khas bentuk rumah minimalis sangat sederhana, hanya berbentuk simple dan permainan fasad bentuk persegi. Terdapat permainan pada atapnya sehingga tidak terkesan monoton. Atap menggunakan material genteng beton flat dengan struktur besi, alumunium foil, dan roof cover.
Untuk pintu dan jendela menggunakan material kayu dengan finishing duco. Sedangkan Pintu Utama menggunakan kayu jati dengan finishing melamin warna salak brown. Desain jendela pada rumah ini dominan berukuran besar dan lebar, hal ini dimaksudkan agar udara dan sinar matahari dapat dengan mudah masuk kedalam rumah dan sirkulasi udara didalam rumah bisa lebih baik. Dengan begitu, tingkat kelembaban didalam rumah akan selalu terjaga dan pencahayaan alami juga mampu memberi nilai lebih secara estetika. Pada bagian Ruang cuci jemur, atap menggunakan kaca biasa ketebalan 8mm dengan rangka besi hollow galvanis.
Pemilihan warna pada fasad bangunan cenderung warna-warna soft, sesuai dengan permintaan klien. Fasad bangunan dominan permainan warna abu-abu muda dan abu-abu tua. Pemberian detail pada eksterior bangunan hanya sederhana yaitu garis tegas topi-topi dengan warna putih yang memberikan kesan kontras. Terdapat pula permainan batu alam pada bagian fasadnya. Batu alam menggunakan batu palimanan yang warnanya mendekati warna kuning-krem. Batu alam ini difinishing coating bening doff.

Mrs. Medy’s Home Design is located in Bekasi, West Java. Located on the hook, but the client requested that the front facade of the house only leads to one side of the road. The land area is ± 60 m2, while the building area is ± 47 m2. The interior of the house is divided into several room functions, including: living room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, warehouse and bedroom. For the outside of the building there are only Carports and Parks. The layout of this room is very simple. Between the living room and the kitchen is given a partition to maintain the privacy of the residents of the house. At the front and rear, there are windows to regulate air circulation so that the temperature in the room remains cool and not hot.
This house is designed in a minimalist home style, according to the request of the client. Where the characteristics of a minimalist house shape are very simple, only in simple form and a square facade game. There is a game on the roof so it doesn’t seem monotonous. The roof uses flat concrete tile material with an iron structure, aluminum foil, and roof cover.
For doors and windows using wood material with duco finishing. Meanwhile, the main door uses teak wood with a melamine finish, salak brown color. The window design in this house is dominantly large and wide, this is so that air and sunlight can easily enter the house and air circulation in the house can be better. That way, the humidity level in the house will always be maintained and natural lighting can also provide added value aesthetically. In the drying room, the roof uses 8mm thickness ordinary glass with a hollow galvanized iron frame.
The color selection on the building facade tends to be soft colors, according to the client’s request. The dominant building facade is light gray and dark gray. Giving details on the exterior of the building is simple, namely the outline of the white hats that give the impression of contrast. There is also a game of natural stone on the facade. Natural stone uses palimanan stone whose color is close to yellow-beige. This natural stone is finished with a clear matte coating.
